The purpose of this blog should be fairly clear just from looking at the main page, but I will make it even more clear by talking about it here!
In general, my intention with this is that I will post my own reviews of books I read (most often fantasy), as well as a bit of my own work. So essentially, this blog will consist of reviews (all of which will be my own personal opinion), occasional thoughts, and a bit of my own writings. I’m going to make it a goal that with each book I read, assuming I deem it worthy of review, I will do so and post that review here for others to read.
While reading books and writing are great passions of mine, and I simply enjoy reviewing things, it is also in my hopes that others will get something out of this blog– whether it be inspiration to read something different, or simply run into a compelling book that they may not have found without it.
I know that for me personally, many of my now favorite and most cherished books have been discovered through the use of the internet, and I’ m so grateful that there were people out there who wrote the reviews that inspired me to purchase them. Now days, in a time with blogs, and twitter, and so many other forms of communication, there are so many more open doors when it comes to gathering information and finding things — things that would have been so much harder to find in the past.
With that said, I truly hope that someone finds a use of the reviews I post here — even if it is just a few! I welcome all comments, and truly encourage them. If you read anything that strikes you in a way — or if anything posted here makes you want to say something — please feel free to do so! I personally love feedback, and I also quite enjoy meeting new people, and hearing what THEY think of books I read. Also, any recommendation are definitely a plus!
